The Good and the Bad Interview

The bad points that were spotted in the video were;

  • The interviewee rushed in late
  • She handed in a scrunched up CV
  • She didn't seem at all interested due to her body language along with the attitude that she portrayed towards the interviewer
  • She had no manners. Her phone also rang in the middle of the interview which she answered and took her time to speak to the person at the end of the line
  • She seem too over confident as she constantly went on about things that weren't in any way relevant or were related to the job interview
  • The whole interview itself seemed rushed. The interviewee didn't seem to let the interviewer have a say in the discussion

The good points that were spotted in the view were;

  • When the interviewee entered the room, the first impression was portrayed in a very well manner as they both shook hands to greet
  • He went through each detail and also included his past work history which is very important to add as it may relate to the current job interview
  • The body language that he showed was very approachable
  • He also entered the interview well dressed in formal clothing
  • He had a lot of examples to back up answers even if he did end up going on a little
  • The whole interview itself went smoothly as the interviewee knew what he was on about so it gave a clear expression towards the interviewer
  • He was well prepared with note-making in advance
  • Hand gestures were shown by the interviewee to show points, this also made him seem confident with what he was talking about
  • At the end of the interview, the interviewee was able to ask a couple of questions about the job position
